Blood glucose meter (fingerstick measurement)
The blood glucose meter is the most common way to get a snapshot of your glucose readings at a single moment in time. It requires using a fingerstick to get a small sample of blood, after which the sample is inserted in the meter to get a reading of current levels so you can adjust your treatment accordingly.
