Insulin Injection Therapy
The original therapy may not be the best therapy.
When first diagnosed, your doctor may have put you on a traditional regimen of 1-2 insulin shots each day. This treatment is usually referred to as conventional therapy.
If your body doesn’t produce any insulin, your doctor may have prescribed additional daily insulin shots—a therapy called multiple daily injection (MDI) therapy.
